Hi, I’m Maria!
I’m a trained Yoga teacher, with specialist training in Menopause Yoga, Yoga with Qigong, and Meditation. I draw on all of these techniques to share mindful, enjoyable, and nourishing Yoga practices to support women in all stages of the menopause, and through to later life.
Now in my 50s, and post-menopausal, I’ve practiced yoga for over 25 years. It’s
been my daily habit and my rock. Even in the midst of my menopause, when I paused many of the things I loved doing, my yoga practice kept me going. It kept me moving, kept me grounded, and kept me connected to how I felt and what I needed.
In the midst of my own peri-menopause, I stepped away from a fairly hectic career in technology, after 25 years, and began my formal yoga teacher training.
Menopause helped me uncover my new path in life, and I’m now on a mission to help other women have a more positive experience of menopause, embracing all that they are in body, mind and heart, to live their fullest and healthiest 2nd half of life.
I am continually seeking out ways that yoga can ease menopause symptoms as part of a holistic practice, and sharing this in my classes, courses, workshops and retreats.
